Play Africa named “Best Rising NGO” in South Africa
PRETORIA (25 February 2022) – Play Africa, a children’s museum based at Constitution Hill in Johannesburg, has been named “Best Rising NGO” in South Africa’s inaugural CSI Legacy Awards in Pretoria.
The award ceremony, an initiative of Corporate Social Responsibility News South Africa (CSRNEWSSA) is the first gala event of its kind to recognise leading nongovernmental organisations (NGOs) working to improve lives in South Africa. CSRNEWS is South Africa’s leading Corporate Social Responsibility news, media and publishing firm.
A panel of independent judges applauded the children’s museum for its approach to creative, holistic and playful learning.

Play Africa is a pioneering “children’s museum” based at the iconic Constitution Hill in Johannesburg, South Africa, a former prison complex that is now the seat of South Africa’s Constitutional Court.
