In August 2024, Play Africa successfully connected with the Ivory Park community through a new partnership with the Lord Khanyile Community Hall. This initiative delivered play-based STEM learning to local children, who immersed themselves in hands-on experiments, creative problem-solving activities, and interactive science experiences designed to spark curiosity and a love of learning.
The activations garnered significant enthusiasm from both children and caregivers, reinforcing Play Africa’s mission to provide accessible, educational, and inspiring experiences throughout Johannesburg.
