What if your learners could explore the galaxy — without ever leaving school? Play Africa’s Children’s Planetarium is a state-of-the-art portable dome that transforms any school hall into a universe of stars and planets. Up to 40 children at a time can journey through the Southern Hemisphere sky, travel deep into the solar system, and learn indigenous stories about the stars.
Each 90–105 min session combines:
– 30–45 min inside the dome – experiencing a clear night sky, spotting constellations, and exploring galaxies.
– 1 hour of hands-on activities – where learners:
– Draw their own constellations
– Explore African indigenous sky knowledge alongside global mythologies
– Discover what stars are made of
– Learn about planets & astronaut tools
– Create, imagine & play
– Bookings open for Aug–Oct 2025 — spaces are limited!
